The downtown is also the center of activity for the numerous community events held in Sierra Madre, and many services and stores are available to visitors during those times. For shopping in the area at large, you can take the Metro Rail system all the way to Los Angeles, where you’ll certainly find no shortage or lack of variety in commercial addresses. The city has plenty of grocery stores and other very practical amenities within it, and the area near the freeway has many services.
