Sierra Madre nightlife is a bit more laid back than what one would find in nearby LA. There are bars and restaurants, and plenty of establishments that offer a combination of the two, and there are plenty of more upscale options from which to choose. There are also less expensive places to drink and dine among the Sierra Madre bar options. The areas which contain the most nightlife establishments are conveniently located a bit off of the interstate that provides the main means of transport throughout the city.
One of the major areas for Sierra Madre nightlife is found along East Foothill Boulevard. This is right off of Interstate 210, near Rosemead Boulevard. There are several bar and grill establishments. There are options for those who prefer trendy spots and for those who prefer laid-back establishments where the drinks aren’t particularly expensive and the environs are casual. West Sierra Madre Boulevard also has some establishments, nearby the intersection of North Baldwin Avenue. There are also plenty of establishments in nearby Pasadena.
There is plenty of Sierra Madre karaoke fun available. Club S offers the popular bar activity and is situated in Pasadena, but within a very short distance of Sierra Madre. There are also establishments in nearby Alhambra and Los Angeles. Sierra Madre nightlife benefits significantly from the fact that one can drive a short distance to the most famous clubs in Los Angeles, or stay at home and enjoy the more relaxed choices in Sierra Madre. Bar options also include the Buccaneer, however, which is famous for being a fun and wild establishment where people party with a delightful sense of abandon. Pasadena bars include some unique options, as well.
Pasadena features the Colorado Bar, which is a local hangout, ideal for those who prefer a neighborhood bar to a fancy club. That city also has plenty of bar and grill establishments, including the Vault. For something different, check out the Boulevard Bar on East Foothill, a trendy dance bar with a diverse clientele. There are plenty of choices in most of the surrounding cities, as well. There are also plenty of bars in Sierra Madre that serve their own brews. These microbrew bars are popular with locals, and usually have excellent restaurant options attached, as well, making them some of the most relaxed places to hang out at night in this community.
