Sierra Madre, California is situated in the northern part of Los Angeles County. It is close to that city, as well as to other large destinations, such as Pasadena and Glendale. The community is relatively upscale, but not as exclusive as some of the areas in Los Angeles County. It has its own municipal services and its own parks and recreational facilities. The community is comprised of about 10,000 people in total, and sits on the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. This has been a large part of its popularity over the years.

The station allows those who venture into the wild spaces to have their goods carried by pack animals.
Sierra Madre has grown along with the rest of Los Angeles County, and is much more than a resort community in modern times. The city’s proximity to Pasadena means that many residents go back and forth between the two for both entertainment and basic needs. The main road through the city is the Foothills Freeway, which links to all the other major roads in Los Angeles County. It is a short drive to the seaside, and a short drive to Los Angeles itself. The city also boasts a Cheese Wisteria of over 1 acre in size!
